Improvised Music Company (IMC) is the national promoter and resource for jazz and improvised music in Ireland. It was founded by Irish jazz musicians and supporters in 1991. Today we actively support and promote the Irish jazz scene in every aspect of our work, and have hands-on involvement in many aspects of music making, including festival programming, concert promotion, touring, production, mentorship, education and audience development, as well as running our own intimate venue and developmental space ‘The Cooler’ in Dublin city centre.
